Mrs. Mary Edwards who was born and reared in Lafayette, died at her home north of Crawfordsville Thursday night. Mrs. Edwards was 42 years old and had lived in Tippecanoe and Montgomery counties practically all her life. She was held in high esteem as a woman of Christian character. The husband, Charles Edward and two children, Charles Curtis Edwards, age 13, and Mae Jane Edwards, age 2, survive. The funeral will be conducted from St. Bernard’s Church, Crawfordsville Saturday morning at 9 o’clock. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
